Using a paper towel, dab on the spilled banana smoothie on your carpet. This dabbing procedure should be completed as quickly as possible to prevent the smoothie from penetrating deep into the fibers of your carpet, making it even more challenging to remove.
Make a powerful cleaning solvent by mixing one teaspoon of ammonia with a cup of warm water. The powerful solvent will help in getting rid of the smoothie stain from the carpet.

Apply the ammonia-based solution to your carpet. After applying the powerful solvent sparingly on your carpet, you should wait for about 3 minutes and then take a white piece of cloth and start dabbing on the stained area. The dabbing process will effectively help in lifting the smoothing stain, and you should do it until all the stain is removed.
Rinse the dabbed area. This will help in removing any dirt and stains stuck on the fibers of your carpet. After rinsing, take a dry clean towel and use it to dry the rinsed area. Follow this by leaving your carpet to air-dry to limit any possibilities of mold or mildew forming underneath your carpet.

a. Take a dull knife or use a spoon edge to remove any smoothies’ solids from your carpet. It would help if you did not rub the smoothie-stained area since it will only push the stains deeper into your carpet fibers.
b. Mix a cleaning solution and blot the stain. Combine one teaspoon dishwashing liquid and 2 cups lukewarm water in a mixing bowl. Blot the stain using a white cloth, sponge, or paper towel dipped in the solution.
As the stain is transported out of the carpet, keep going to a clean region of the cloth. It would be best if you blotted up the carpet-stained area with as much liquid as possible.

c. Rinse thoroughly. Dip a clean white cloth in plain water and “rinse” the stain by blotting it again when no more stain is transferred. Because detergent can collect soil, it’s crucial to rinse it off of the carpet.
d. If the smoothie stains are challenging and not removed, you should make an oxygen-based bleach solution in cool water according to package guidelines. To apply to the remaining location, dip a clean sponge into the solution or use an eyedropper.
Work the solution into the carpet from the outside edge of the stain into the center. Do not get your hands too moist. Allow at least 30 minutes for the solution to sit on the stain before blotting it away.
e. Air-dry and vacuum. Lastly, after getting rid of the stubborn smoothie stains, take a dry clean cloth and use it to blot away any moisture before allowing your carpet to air-dry completely. Then, vacuum your carpet. This will help to restore the pile.
